Was War inevitable?
Yes it was. Japan has already has ambitions to compete with the foreign powers, before the Second World War. It was already keeping an eye on lands belonging to China to support for its rise of militarism. The rise of militarism was first due to the fear of Japan being colonised. Thus the urge to conquer and becoming a fearsome world power has to lead to war.

Did the power of the USA end the War?
Yes it did. The British and other colonial powers were too busy fighting the War in Europe with Hitler that it had to "forsake" its colonies in Asia so as the military would be focused on fighting Hitler. When the US entered the war, it ended the war in Europe and not long after the A.Pac. war. This is something the British and colonial powers could not do before the involvement of the US. Therefore, The Power of the US is the main reason the war ended.

War was Inevitable. Japan's aim were unstoppable , its country was facing a crisis , Lack of Food and living space caused them a need to expand its land. European power were also not happy with Japan about the China invasion , Japan change in leadership cause the relationship to worsen . Japan was also hit badly by the Great Depression , Japan needed to get more resources and place to trade its product in order for Japan to survive. Its only way to have War and end with Devastating Effect .

Was war inevitable?

No, war was not inevitable. This is because as early as the 1930s, Japan has already been planning to invade China. This way, Japan would be able to get areas in China which would be rich for agriculture. This would solve the problem of providing food for the people. The Chinese lands would also allow the increasing population more lands to settled down in. In the 1900s, Japan's population was 45 million, but by 1930, this had risen to 64 million.
Thus, food had to be imported as much of Japan’s lands were mountainous and unsuitable for agriculture or settlement. If China was invaded, Japan would be able to to get the necessary raw materials for its industries and also the food for its people.

Also, Japan was unhappy with the Western powers like USA because they were dissatisfied with Western imperialism. The West regarded Japanese as inferior.

War was inevitable because of Japan's aggressive expansionism. Japan was diven by fear of colonisation, as they did not want to colonise. Also, Japan wanted to build up its empire and was driven by the need for raw materials.

By icreasing military control in Japan, affecting policy-making, Japan's military hoped to conquer by force.

Moreover, the USA and other Western Powers felt that they were unequally treated by the western powers. They even had to accept a smaller naval fleet than USA or Britain. Thus, they felt that the USA and Britain thought that they were seen as inferior compared to them.

Therefore, I conclude that war is inevitable because Japan was already moving on to war and preparing for it for its expansionism. This is done in hope to expand Japan.

1. War in the asia pacific was inevitable as japan's population had rose a lot and there was not enough land for people to settle and for agriculture.
Therefore the only way to solve this problems is to have fertile lands to grow food and for people to settle.
Another factor is that the great depression caused people to lose their jobs and japan not being able to sell their manufactured products to their main country - USA.
This resulted in people living in hunger and therefore japan had to get more land for agriculture to provide food for the japanese.
One of the factors is that japan felt that the european countries were not treating them equally and that by invading more land they could make themselves more powerful.

2. The power of USA did not end the war as its was due to the resistance of the people of the japanse colonies that ended the war. If the people of the japanese's colonies wanted the japanese to rule them, the power of the USA would not have eneded the war as the japanese troops would be more focused on attacking other countries and hence the Allies would lose eventually.

Did The power of USA end the War?.
It did ,to a large extent . Usa was rich in resources and can easily provide ammunitions and war products to his allies . This can help in defeating the war against the Axis , and then using the Allied power to end the Japan war. Its Atomic Bomb was also too powerful and it frightened Japan about USA power of leaving such devastating effects left in the country. Japan had to surrender. However its was also the poor management of Japan that lead to the end of the war. Their ill treatment of the Asian and also Poor management in controlling their newly captured land caused alot of resistance forces to rise .

Did the power of USA end the war?

Yes, it did. War ended with the dropping of the atomic bombs. This is because after 2 atomic bombs, the destruction affected the country a lot. Thus, they had to surrender as they were afraid that another atomic bomb will probably destroy the whole country.

Due to the superior strength of the Allies, which included the USA, Japan had to give in to the USA. Although some battleships were destroyed, others were only damaged and were quickly repaired. - Thus, the Americans were able to recover fast from the attack and became strong enough to confront the Japanese. This led to the defeat of the Japanese.

Thus, the great strength of USA was the main reason why war ended.

Q: "Was War Inevitable?"

The surrender of Japan was inevitable after the United States dropped the first atom bomb on Hiroshima in August of 1945. Stalin was waiting for just such an opportunity where the Soviets could enter the war against Japan while incurring minimal loss, and so it was no surprise when he declared war against Japan after the U.S. dropped the second atom bomb. Upon Japanese surrender on August 15, 1945, Soviet military forces swept through Manchuria and North Korea taking over Japanese control over these provinces. The United States reacted in alarm when she realized the potential danger of having the strategic Korean peninsula controlled by communist forces. President Truman proposed a joint occupation of Korea by the two powers where the Soviets would occupied the territory north of the 38 parallel, while the U.S. would control the area south of the line.

Initially, it was the intention of both sides to establish a stable and unified Korea in order to withdraw their military forces from the area. However, neither the Soviet Union or the U.S. wanted the peninsula to fall into the other's hand. In short, the Soviets and the U.S. desired to withdraw their military and resources out of Korea, but they also wanted to leave behind a nation that was favorable to each's ideology; the Soviets desired a Communist Korea whereas the U.S. wanted a democratic nation to be established. And so the roots of division were laid from the very onset of Korea's liberation.

In a nutshell, war was inevitable.

Q:"Did the Power of USA End the War?"
Yes. During world war two, the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Soviet Union declared war on Japan, and the Japanese government surrendered to the United States and its allies. The nuclear age had truly begun with the first military use of atomic weapons. US went for precision bombing - got better as time went by. They did real damage.
UK for "area-bombing" - aim was terror and morale breaking. This does not seem to have had any useful effect.
The American economy was untouched by devastation that was occuring elsewhere even after joining the war.

In conclusion, the power of USA ended the war.

I feel that war was not inevitable as japan has leaders that strongly supported an aggressive foreign policy and establishment of a japanese empire. He was a man who opposes negotiation and hence i think that no matter what happens, he will carry on with war plans for the japanese empire.

I think its the poewr of the USA that ended the war as they were able to defear japan in their 3 major battles, i think that that crippled japan pretty much. Also, the euopeans countries did not manage to end the war before the involvement of the USA. I believe that proves that the USA's power really helped to end the war.

War was inevitable.
The Japanses were driven by the fear of colonisation and the need for materials in their expanding of their empire.

When USA could not afford Japanese goods due to the great depression, prices of Japanese goods fell. And if they invaded China, Japan would be able to get areas in China for agriculture.

This would solve the problem of providing food and land for the people as well as necessary war materials.

The power of the USA ended the War.

USA was a powerful country which was rich and large. The dropping of atomic bomb was and series of raids caused the Japanese to surrender. It costed the lives of many people and made them realise the importance of defending themselves.

1. War is inevitable.
Firstly, when the league of nations declared that Japan had to remove its troops out of Manchuria, Japan was unhappy with the statement, and thus, left the league.
Secondly,Japan's needed more food for its people since the population growth. It grew by nineteen million in just thirty years. As Japan's land was mountanious and not fit for agriculture, what choice did it have but to start a war and rob other countries' of their food.
Thirdly, Japan also needed raw materials just like it needed food. War would also be a solution to this.
Fourthly, Japan was not happy at the league of nations as they declared that europeans were more superior than the asians.
Another reason was because of USA's harshness towards Japan. They made it difficult for Japan to migrate to Japan and introduced taxes to its exports.
2. No the power of USA did not end the war. I believe that the real reason for the end of the war is the dropping of the atomic bombs.
Yes USA had immense power and look like it could win the war. But it was really hard to tell. After all, Japan had a tough resilience and spirit. If war actually carried on, Japan might have won. Therefore I believe that the dropping of the atomic bombs ended the war. The dropping of these two bombs caused much destruction and devestation to Japan. Japa, not wanting to cause anymore destruction to itself, surrendered. So the dropping of atomic bombs ended the war.

WAS WAR INEVITABLE?
War was inevitable. At that point of time, Japan was facing many problems, which lead to many consequences. For example, Japan's lack of food and natural resources caused her to invade China. which eventually led to war.A change in the leader, led to drastic changes in how the Japanese worked. Negotiations were deemed useless and more aggressive means were chosen. All the above led to bad relations with the western powers and eventually, war.

DID THE POWER OF USA END THE WAR?
Japan's worse move was when they decided to bomb pearl harbour. If they had not bombed pearl harbour, USA may not have gotten involved in the war.And the moment USA got involved, the Allies' power was greatly increased as USA had a large resource base to depend on.Other western powers like Britain was barely surviving in the war with Germany, and thus, did not have the resources nor time to deal with the Japanese.WIth the intervention of USA, more resources could be used to deal with Japan. Hence, without USA, the war would most probaly not end so soon.

War was inevitable.
Japan was afraid and resisted Western colonization and protectionism. Ambitions of conquering Asia Pacific were too huge to ignore. The Japanese wanted to be known as a world power, not a small colony of the western countries. Thus, they started war to prove to the world that they are equal, if not better.

The power of USA ended the war. The USA's Strategic bombardments of Japan, island-hopping and superior war tactics outlasted Japan's supposedly blitzkrieg tactics. Japan's bombing of Pearl Harbour did not devastate the USA's fleet too much. Thus, the USA had navy superiority and overcame the Japanese.

No, it wasn't.
Due to the fact that the Japanese civilian government failed to take control over the military in Japan, militarism arises. Also, political reasons caused unhapiness with the League of Nations. They felt that they had been treated unfairly by the US, this also cause the rise of militarism. And with the impacts of the Great Depression on Japan, they were angered with the treatment they get and wanted revenge. With such strong military force and motives, it is no way the war could have been prevented.

Yes, it did.
As the power of US is large, rich and powerful,it had a huge resource base to draw on.
At its peak, it could turn out over 70,000 tanks and 120,000 aircraft a year, the Japanese could survive as long as the Americans did not get involved in the war. As the Americans were then involved in the war, it becomes difficult for Japan to defeat such a powerful force. The war thus ended. The impact of the Atomics bombs caused great suffering and had a demoralizing effect on the Japanese people. It also raised the importance of defending its own people. Japan thus surrendered.

Was War in Asia Pacific inevitable?
Yes it was.Japan was a very ambitious country. She did not want to feel inferior to other western countries therefore she wishes to conquer other countries to strengthen her resources and gain more power to feel either on equals with the Western countries,or even superior.
And due to the fear of colonisation from the Western countries, they resorted to militarism. Thus in search for more land, resources and power, war was inevitable.

Did the power of the USA end the War?
Yes,the war ended due to the help and entrance of USA into the war.During the war,the Allied forces were fighting a war on two fronts, thus resources were scarce and had to focus on only one side, which was to fight the Germans. But,on the way to conquer more countries,Japan had to bomb Pearl Harbour to gain more territories without any obstacles. And due to this,USA entered the war,and if it wasn't for USA,the allied would not have won the war, because the people of Japan were extremely loyal to their emperor, and were willing to die for him. Thus, the power of the USA forces ended the war.

1) War was inevitable as Japan was a small country and wanted to expand their land. This will result in them trying to take over lands but most lands were already taken. The way left to expand their territory is to fight for control over the land which will eventually result in war.

2)I agree to a large extent that the power of USA ended the war. The war in Asia was already almoost completely lost when US joined in. Jpan could not handle USA as Japan was already quite depleted of war materials from all the previous fight. USA's military and economic powers were too great for Japan to handle so they had to surrender. When japan surrended, the war in Asia ended and Germany and Italy were left alone against the rest so they lost too. However other countries also were in the war against the Axis so USA was not the only one fightintg back the Axis.

Was war inevitable?
Yes, it was. From the start, Japn has growing demands for more land and territory. Japan wanted her rise in militarism and wanted Japan to be a stronger and more independent country. Therefore the motive for a war for territory is already hovering in Japan's mind. Other country's targetted by Japan had no options but to defend their own country.

Did the power of the USA end the War?
Yes, it did. US joined the war and occupied most of its time on war with the Axis powers and that the Axis countries had to neglect its colonies. These countries can then gain back more of their independence and the Axis powers were greatly weakened by the stronger US. Which then in turn cause the Axis powers to surrender and end the war. Therefore i conclude that US was the main reasont the war ended.

1) Was war inevitable?

War was inevitable.

Firstly, Japan has a large population, and in order to make sure that they have enough food to feed these people, they had to use ways to achieve that. By invading China, they will be able to solve this problem as China is rich in agriculture. This would ensure that resources will be ample for them.

Secondly, the great depression has caused a big impact to Japan. Importing of silk from Japan by the USA was cut down greatly as USA could not afford to purchase those good. As a result, the prices of Japanese goods fell greatly and this resulted in the decrease in economy in Japan.

Thirdly, Japan invaded China as they would then be able to control more areas and become powerful. They felt that they were being looked down by the Europens as they believed that the Europeans are superior to the Asians. This angered Japan for this statement was not included in the League of Nation's convenant.

Lastly, unhappiness towards USA gave Japan the urge to invade China. As the immigration policy was changed by the USA, the more the Japanese felt insulted as it made them more difficult to migrate to USA. Taxes on imports into USA also made Japan feel unhappy as good were more expensive.

With Japan captured China, most of their worries and discontent can be solved. They would not rely strongly on the USA and the Japanese will not feel inferior to the USA.

2) Did the power of USA end the war?

Yes, the power of USA ended the war. Without the great power and resources of the USA, the Japan would not be defeated so easily.

The usage of american aircraft carriers gave an advantage to USA. Japan were not able to destroy it during the bombing of Pearl Harbour, and their valuable resources were also left undamaged. This meant that they were still very strong in terms of war resources and oil resources, unlike Japan who had very little resources.

As USA is a large and rich country, it made them more powerful compared to Japan. It had a huge resource base to draw on and they need not worry so much that their resources will run dry.
Japan were not powerful enough to defeat them in terms of manpower and resources.

Japan was also defeated by the reason that they were capturing an empire that is much more larger than theirs. They were not being able to balance their resources and make sure that they will be able to have enough of them to continue the war. Even when they were fighting against China, they were not being able to handle. To make things worse, when USA invaded parts of the Japanese empire, their resources are stretched even more, leading to the defeat.

If the USA did not intefere in this war, the war might still continue as Japan need not stretch its limited resources. The strong and powerful empire of the USA were also weakened Japan. That is why I feel that the power of USA ended the war.

Was War inevitable?

That war was in no way inevitable.I believe any fight is avoidable, if the possible participants are willing to compromise.

The leaders of the world, namely Hitler, Churchill, Stalin, Roosevelt and Hirohito were not compromisers.Compromising w/men like Hitler and Stalin was very dangerous. Churchill and Roosevelt knew this. Hirihito was in no position to compromise, his country was about a year away form destitute.

The personalities of the leaders at the time, in my opinion, made WW2 unavoidable. That's not to say that they were all war mongers. Hitler was, yes, and thus set the stage in Europe for no compromise.

In my opinion because of the treaty of versailles. since germany was definetely one of the main countries involved, they were looking for trouble and reprisal. they wanted to justify themselves in another war especially because of their humiliation in WWI. also, tensions had been enormous and hard to avoid.

I agree that World War Two could have been avoided if the League of Nations had been more assertive, but the other countries could not have just stand there and do nothing. If they had done that, Germany could have taken over the whole of Europe.

I suppose all wars are preventable by negotiation beforehand, as long as every country is treated fairly and every country work with one another.Hence when no country want to expand their territory and get more resources, there will be no war.

Did the power of USA win the war?

No, i beleieve it was the bombing of japan. It's arguable. Bombing certainly affected the war e.g. Battle of Britain. Near the end of the war Britain began to bomb German cities which weakened German moral. Hitler was hoping the bombings on Britain would have this affect on Brits so this was quite ironic.

Absolutely, with out doubt. EVERY armed force in WW 2 used air bombing to some extent, and in many cases, it was the factor in turning the victory.

There are very few defenses that can be put up against a mass bombing attack by air craft. Having to sit and take it on the ground is very hard to endure, and after weeks of it, most people just want to get out and run away.

It is clear that bombing of strategic targets such as bridges, airfields or rail yards did help to win WW11. Take the allied air assault of French railways on and immediately after D Day, for example.

The use of mass bombing has, however, always been open to question by reason of both it's morality and effectiveness. As an earlier reply stated Hitler tried to bomb Britain into submission in 1940/41 but despite killing some 40,000 people, he failed. He did not break their will to fight on and despite the damage done (some two million homes damaged and hundreds of factories hit) British domestic war production was still able to increase.

From 1943 onwards, British raids on Germany became heavier and heavier culminating with the raid on Dresden, which alone is thought to have killed 35,000 people. Again, the aim was two fold, to damage factories and break the spirit of the enemy. Again, throughout the allied air campaign German war production continued to rise and the people continued to fight on.

Although in both these examples the offensive appears to have failed in it's aim the real consequences of the bombing are that without it industrial output would have been significantly higher, transportation of men, equipment and raw materials much easier, workers would have been fitter and morale even more resolute. So although bombing on it's own didn't win the war it was a vital contributor to that victory.

Was War inevitable?

Yes, war was inevitable. The Japanese army could not be stopped by the Japanese governmment. The Japanese army wanted to expand their empire. The League of Nations also did not help at all because Japan withdrew from the League of Nations and the League of Nations could not do anything to stop them.

The great depression has inflicted a big impact on Japan. The USA was cut down greatly as USA could not afford to purchase those goods. As a result, the prices of Japanses goods fel greatly and this resulted in the decrease of
Japan's economy.

Japan invaded China as they would be able to control more areas and become more powerful. This would make the European countries look up to Japan as a powerful state.

They felt they were being looked down by the USA. They felt that the Europeans were superior compared to the Asians. This angered the Japanese for the statement was not included in the League of Nation's covenant.

By capturing China, Japan would be able to rely less on USA, it would then be able to have a market in China to sell its product without any taxes or restrictions.

The government in Japan was being more and more unpopular among the people as it did not solve the country’s economic and social problems.

It was very difficult for the government to work against the wishes of the army as the army becoming increasingly strong and popular in Japan.

To show the mightiness of Japan and also to start establishing an overseas empire, the army thus initiated the invasion of China, starting from the invasion of Manchuria.

Did the Power of USA end the war?

Yes. It weakened Japan. It also took revenge for attack on Pearl Harbour and treatment of people. It showed American supremacy.

Was War inevitable? Many historians study if World War Two in the Pacific Theatre could have been prevented. Was it a war that was bound to take place? Or could it have been prevented.
The reason for the first notion [that war was inevitable] almost always rests with Japan's strong desire to expand to maintain a strong industrial sector with strong growth. Due to the lack of resources on Japan's home islands, Japan needed to look beyond her shores to import essential raw materials such as iron, oil, and coal. Another factor for consideration is Japan's desire to compete with the European powers. To do that, acquiring resource-rich colonies was important.

Essentially, Japan was hungry for power, for land and for resources and had a ferocious appetite. Coupled with the Great Depression and the threat of embargo by USA. she was, in other words, unstoppable in her move towards war.

If one considers the conditions of that time, it could also be debated that this war could have been prevented and thousands of lives spared the pain and suffering and mindless killings. One important aspect is the League of Nations. Much as the LON could have prevented the war in Europe if it had been more effective and involved in resolving crisis, LON could certainly have done its part to stop Japan when her intentions became crystal clear to all that war was on their mind. If the LON had reacted appropriately and strongly when the Japanese occupied Manchuria and Shanghai, the events that follow which ultimately led to war could have been prevented. The failure of the LON to respond quickly and appropriately when the Chinese government asked the LON for help largely resulted in Japan's withdrawal from the LON and her emboldened aims due to the lack of action on the part of LON.

It is necessary to consider the outbreak of War in Europe and the Asia Pacific agaiinst the backdrop of the Great Depression, the post-World War One sentiments, the rebuilding and rearming plans of most countries, the inherent weaknesses of the League of Nations, the various political models pursued by various countries, the policy of isolationism pursued by US, the policy of appeasement pursued by Britain and France. All these conditions certainly have implications in the war that eventually took place.

Did the Power of USA End the War?

Yes. Japan was stupid to bomb USA, when they wanted more power. They thought that Germany would help them to beat USA to gain their resources. The US stayed neutral in WWII until the US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was bombed by the Japanese on December 7, 1941. The Japanese were then enemies of the United States. THis made USA 'angry' and decide to retaliate, by bombing Japan of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

War in the asia pacific WAS inevitable. Japan had a lack of resources (like coal and oil) and it had to get its resources from other countries, making war unavoidable. Because the rise of militarism had grown so strong in Japan, the government wanted to resort to force to protect its interests, as well as to get the resources it needed. By taking over land, Japan would be able to find new supplies for itself. However, this would definitely lead to war. Japan's foreign policy also made war inevitable.

The power of the USA did end the war. USA was quick to recover after the attack on Pearl Harbour. The USA also had a very large number of troops. They had an enourmous supply of resources, and besides all thee, they had very effective and successful strategies.

"JAPAN - Was War Inevitable?"
When Japan had a dispute with Russia and destroyed their fleet with the help of a cyclone,United States stopped selling oil to Japan. Japan wanted to invade the Philippines but it was an American possession from the Spanish American War. Japan felt that the American Fleet was strong, and had to be distorted in a surprise first strike, Japan then bombed the American Fleet at Pearl Harbor in a surprise attract.
Yes, it couldn't be avoided,
After receiving the news about the Pearl Harbor attack, the genereal of Britain met with his military advisers and, after that, wrote a first draft of the declaration of war on Japan request to the Congress. They have directed that all measures be taken for their defense. This led to an offense attack by USA and it went on and WWII started. It was waiting happen and when pearl harbour was bombed, it finally did.

Did the power of USA end the war?
yes, because USA deployed strategic military tactics and they had a strong army. They were superior in each aspect and they were decisive in their advance against the Japanese.

Was war inevitable?

Yes. I think the war between Japan and USA was inevitable. From 1933-34, the Japanese military tried to extend its control in China and this results in the rise of tension as many patriotic Chinese demanded that their government stand up and resist Japan’s advances. Than, the Japanese army invaded China even though the Japanese government had not officially declared war. Later, Japan decided to bring the war into Southeast Asia to cut off China’s water supply lines from IndoChina and Burma and to strengthen itself by acquiring oil, tin, rubber and other raw materials from the countries in the region. As, Japan is lacking in natural resources such as raw materials and land. Thus, it needed to find ways to get its resources.

Japan also feared colonisation as western was expanding its colonisation in the Pacific and it wanted to be a viable world power, not colony.

Protectionism by other nations: a big blow to Japan as it caused Japan’s exports to fall drastically. While Japan could offer cheaper goods than the protectionist West, its trade in Asia was limited as much of Asia was still dominated by Western influence

Was War inevitable?

Yes. Japan has already the thoughts to compete with the foreign powers before WW2. It was already eyeing on lands belonging to China to support its rise of militarism. Japan also had a lack of resources and they had no choice but to fight with other countries to get them. Thus the war was in evitable.

Did the power of the USA end the War?

It did end the war. The British were fighting against Hitler and was too busy to even care about its colonies in Asia so as to concentrate on the war in Europe. When USA entered the war, it ended the war in Europe. The British and other colonial powers could not stop the war before USA came. Thus, the power of the USA end the War.

War is inevitable. As Japan felt increasingly threatened by US military might. In addition, Japan attacked the pearl harbour which cause unhappinesss in the Americans. Also, Japan wanted to expand its expand its territory as their population is increasing. Also, Great Depression caused Japan to go to war, with Great Depression, USA could not afford to purchase most of these good for Japan. These factors forced Japan to go to war. Japan is an ambitious country which also wanted power.

The power of the USA did ended the war.By early 1943, America had built up her military strength in Hawaii.America planned to capture the important Pacific Islands one by one and finally attack the Philippines and Japan itself. This ‘island hopping’ strategy forced the Japanese military to move troops from China and Manchuria in 1943 to defend Japan possessions in SEA.But Japan could not stop the superior US forces. In early 1945, the Allies bombed major Japanese cities. The submarines of the Allied Forces also successfully prevented Japan from exploiting the riches of its overseas colonies. Japan’s economy collapsed and Japan faced total defeat. Therefore this caused the Japan to have the need to defend their country, so they have to do both sides, the attack and defence.

3 INTEGRITY

Was war inevitable?

Yes it was inevitable. Japan wanted to expand their empire and was already eyeing for foreign land. When Japan invaded Manchuria, China asked help from League of Nations. League of Nations did not help at all to stop Japan as Japan could easily withdraw out from League of Nations where League of Nations could not interfere anymore. So the war was Inevitable.

Also, because of the rise of militarism since 1920s, the government became unpopular and people supported more towards the Japanese military.

Did the power of USA end the war?

Yes. USA was a very powerful country with rich resources like oil. Japan used 80% of the oil from USA.

Also, after the Pearl Harbour attack, America built up the army to take revenge. USA was ready to bomb two major cities, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, creating a huge impact to Japan's economy and its people. Japan had to give up and surrender.

CHARLES LEE,3 INTERGRITY

was war inevitable?

Yes the war was inevitable because japan had developed great interest in newlands of china which would expand Japan colonies

The second reason were because due to the fact that during that period, the europeans colonies were conquering native lands. Thus Japan believed by conquering more lands, Japan would be ranked much more powerful than the europeans powers.

The third reason were because each and every country had its own agenda.Agenda to obtain greater power or wealth thus encouraging the factor of war between countries.

the fourth reason were because Japan had believed that the only way, Japan could recover from wall street crash would be by obtaining raw materials from other country.

The last reason were because during that period, Japan was governed under nationalist governers. On the fact that they are nationalist, they believed by conquering more lands, this would show that Japan is no push over country for any european countries.

Did the power of USA End world war 2?

Yes the Power of USA end the world War 2!

Without USA adding to the number if the allies and supplying oil, the axis would have more soldiers and supplies than the allies.

Due to the technology advancement of USA, the two atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This caused the surrendor of Japan.

To a small Extand No Because besides USA, Russian were also one of the super power during that time to help the Allies. They contribute as much as USA to end the world war 2.
